The Campbell County Airport is also located just outside of the city.

The Tank Springs Trailhead along Ollis Creek is particularly lovely, and is located right by the ATV campsite. Located south of Norris Dam State Park, there’s much to see and do, and popular activities including fishing, boating, camping, and hiking. The city also has a disc golf course, but the north end of the city is mostly untouched forest. 

Norris Square and Circle Road is considered to be the downtown area. Here you’ll find local businesses, the Norris Community Library, the Norris Commons Arboreum, and the city’s farmer’s market. One point of interest is the Lenoir Museum, which features a historic grist mill built in the 18th century.

LaFollette is served by the Campbell County School District. There are two public schools within the city: LaFollette Middle School and LaFollette High School. Roane State Community College is the only higher education institution located in LaFollette. Campbell County High School is found just outside the city limits.
